Excellent guitar for those who are looking for a full and bold sounding guitar. Especially for those metal heads!!!
Model Year: 2005
Price: $716.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Guitar Center
Features:
Hands down the best guitar I have ever owned. Has a full and smooth sound. I am very pleased with it and plan on buying another Schecter in the future. No more Jacksons for me.
Playability:
It is lightweight similar to the feel of an ibanez, but the next is slightly thicker, making the neck similar to a stratocaster. Action is perfect and is the first guitar I have had that stays in tune regularly.
Sound Quality:
The sound is very smooth and full. Perfect for metal, and hard rock. It also has the potetial to be a great blues guitar. I think it gives a fuller sound than the Jacksons that I have been using in the past. I use a digitech RP14 effects board, a mesa boogie 4x12 cab, and a Marshall valve state head. The sound is great.
Durability:
Stays in tune... No floyd rose bridge which keeps the maintence on the low (after using floyd rose bridges for years, i am so thankful that I have stopped using them.)
