As soon as I got my Les Paul I immediately put these on both it and my Tele. I wasn't gonna take any chances with a 2 grand guitar and these have been great. I'd definitely recommend you put some kind of strap locks (doesn't have to be these) on any expensive guitar. These are a bit pricey but they're a LOT cheaper than fixing a broken headstock!!

Made in Germany so they're probably pretty good quality. They feel pretty solid and should last a long time.

Well worth the money. Prevents involuntary strap releases. Also prevents post "pulling" when installing and removing heavy leather straps with tight holes. On the down side; release knob can be a bit difficult to grasp and pull, components only available as full sets (would like to see posts sold seperately).
Price: $14.99 (new)
Where Obtained: River City Music
Features:
Automatic positive locking. Locks when strap component slides over post. Release by pulling knob on strap component. Full 360 degree pivoting. Sold in complete pairs; 2 strap components, 2 posts and all mounting hardware. Comes in different finishes; nickel, chrome, gold and black. Also sold under the Allparts and Fender labels.
Durability:
Very heavy duty and reliable.
