These strings are a bit on the heavy side and make it feel like your playing an acoustic not an electric. I don't think I would use these strings on any of my solid body electrics. I would recommend these on semi-hollow and hollow bodies, if your looking for a little more "full" sound.
Price: $5.99 (new)
Where Obtained: Beacock's Music
Features:
These are 11-48 gauge strings of nickel round wound type, with standard ball ends.
Sound Quality:
I like these strings on my semi-hollow body 335. After trying 10-46 gauge Regular Slinky's and the same gauge in other brands, I decided to give these a try. I was totaly satisfied with the sound. These strings deliver a very "full" sound with this guitar.
Durability:
These strings hold tuning very well once they "settle" in. This guitar gets moderate usage, and I change the strings about every three months, as a matter of procedure. The strings still sound good at this change interval.
