I looked at a bunch of Fenders; DG-11, DG-8, DG-14. This was the best. If this guitar was lost or stolen I would buy it back if i had the money...I think it has a Warranty though. This guitar could not be better. This is a great deal for 200 bucks. I love the sound, I can't think of any complaints. GO BUY THIS GUITAR!!!
Model Year: 2005
Price: $209.10 (new)
Where Obtained: Guitar Center
Features:
This guitar was made in the U.S. It's made of solid sitka on the tops with Nato backs and sides. There are 20 frets with rosewood neck. There is a natural finish with a very nice bear claw grain pattern. It has die cast tuners and a regular bridge. Overall, this is a beautiful guitar.
Playability:
This guitar has relatively low action...but not too low. It's very easy to bend. The neck is set perfect. When I bought it, me and the salesman were jamming in the back...he had a Fender DG-8 and I had this guitar. You could not even hear the Fender over the FG-700S. I don't have any complaints with the playability.
Sound Quality:
I play a lot of rock...th classics. You can play this guitar with any style. The guitar resonates amazingly. Nuff said.
Durability:
This guitar is perfect for like cafe gigs or like talent shows. It's great for anywhere. I wish it would have a second strap hook. But that's not important.

A solid top guitar for 200 dollars. It sounds great, its light weight. This guitar sounds great, with the spruce solid top, and stays in tune with the die cast tuners. Dreadknot style body, natural finish, and great sound make it a great guitar.
Playability:
This guitar is great, with the perfect fretboard and frets, and it has a comfortable feel. I can play this guitar anyway i want, and changing chords is easy.
Sound Quality:
Sound on this guitar is primo! The solid top gives this guitar a great sound for its price, and I think that yamaha makes a great guitar. I tried alot of other guitars, Mitchels, Ibanez, and Fenders, and nothing sounded this good, except for a guitar that cost 50 dollars more...That was the last one...that they discontinued...and the floor model had a blem... anyway, great sounding guitar.
Durability:
As long as you humidify any acoustic, they generally hold up well. This guitar is plenty durrable, although i wish the pick guard didn't scratch so easy.
