I looked at EAW, and Yamaha. Nothing else fit my needs. If your looking for an arrayable compact high powered flexible use 2 way cabinet, and you can't afford a vertec system, SRX 4725 is your answer
Model Year: 2004
Price: $1100.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Musicians Friend
Features:
13 ply birch trapezoidal cabinet finished with DuraFlex. Titanium Compression Drivers, Vented Gap cooling Optimized Aperture horn/driver reduces throat distortion and provides smooth freq response. Non Resonant Metal Grille. Speak On-1/4 inch combo connectors, with passive and active crossover connections on back. Specs are preloaded into DBX Drive Rack PA for more ease of use
Sound Quality:
JBL Quality at it's most compact and High power. Being a JBL user for many years its nice to see a high powered, durable, great sounding, portable small cabinet. JBL has always been costly and thats my only complaint. These cabs are perfect for mid size clubs, small outdoor festivals, or deafening sidefill monitors. Stackable and arrayable. Very durable and great coverage. JBL SRX 4725 have never failed to meet my needs or expectations
Ease of Use:
Plug and Play for passive connection. Bi Amp connection requires a quick pin switch inside crossover..tamper resistant
Durability:
Very Durable...even if dropped...a few times...cabinets are heavy 87lbs each, but coated with Duraflex...a non scuffable..non scratchable..textured finish...that will probably outlast us humans.. A year of 1 nighters and some Desert Jam Rock Festivals and they still look and sound like new.
