If this guitar was lost or stolen...i'd definately buy another one. When purchasing I was also looking at another Warlock, NJ series. Price-wise, this was affordable and has proven to meet my needs.
Model Year: 2004
Price: $350.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Beatstreet Music
Features:
Made in Korea, 24-frets with volume, 3-way toggle and tone control. 1-Humbucker, One single, very fast neck!!!
Playability:
This guitar is amazing to play. The neck is one of the fastest I've used and the sound from the combo pickups produces deep lows and bright high's for soloing. The only downfall is the beast headstock is kinda on the heavy side and you have to hold the neck up to counter-balance, but the palyability and tone makes up for it. The guitar looks mean!!!
Sound Quality:
Playing through a Fender champion 300 amp, playing mostly classic rock and metal. The sound is both dark with exceptional brightness due to the single pickup. I find no fret buzz or peripheral noises with this guitar. It's fun to play and did I mention, it just looks mean!!!!
Durability:
Live playing would be awesome due to the guitar's killer looks and sound. It may become tire-some holding up the neck for long periods of time however. Haven't taken it outta the house yet, so i'm not sure of durability and climate change. Very lightweight guitar compared to the Beast, Ironbird and Warlock.
