This pickup can be used in all postions, but in my experience it sounds the nicest in the neck. This is a humbucking single coil. The output is low at 93mv, and there is no noise/hum what so ever. It has Alnico 5 magnets.
Want a pickup that has no noise? Then this is a good choice. It's used by Yngwie J Malmsteen in his Strat in the neck postion. This pickup is good for all styles, I'am a big jazz player along with shred, and this pickup does the trick for all types in between. The sound is warm, rich, bell like, with lots of sustain.
