This is TASCAM's professional replacement for 2" 24 channel reel to reel recording. It sounds warm and rich with no harsh high ends common in consumer digital recorders. The optional A/D section ($1,700.00) is second only to the RADAR digital recorders.
This looks and feels just like all my TASCAM reel to reel machines, except that it's a digital hard disk recorder. Zero learning curve made this machine worth 10 times what I paid for it.
