Really liked this recording. What surprised me was that Eric Clapton only does the essential soloing (I was expecting more solos), but that approach to these songs works very, very well. His vocals seemed to me better than ever.

I love the Delta Blues, this is my favorite Clapton cd since Eric Clapton - "Blues", or "From The Cradle". I love when Clapton plays this style, it is a bit more "electrified" acoustically, maybe even slightly over polished, but the playing is phenominal.

His playing and vocals on "Last Fair Deal Gone Down", and "If I Had Possession Over Judgement Day" are a true inspiration for me, personally.

If you like Clapton playing in that Delta Style, you can't help but listen to this, wonderful music.
