I looked at all of Digitech's units, i was about to by their grunge pedal, but the death metal pedal caught my eye. If it was stolen or lost i wouldn't eat or sleep until i found it, but yes i would buy it again. This pedal could be better if it had a gain dial and looked more like it was made from hell because thats exactly the way it sounds. I love everything about this pedal and there is nothing wrong with it.

BUY THIS PEDAL NOW!!!!
Model Year: 2006
Price: $50.00 (new)
Where Obtained: samedaymusic.com
Features:
4 easy to use dails, Level, Low, Medium, High. You have to use a 9 volt battery to play this pedal. I wish it had a Gain dial, but there are no complaints at all. You have to plug it into your amp to be able to play with it.
Sound Quality:
I use the pedal with my Ibanez GRX20Z, and a Marshall Amp a great combo. This pedal is only for heavy head banging, Metal. This is much better than any other units i've used except for the Scott Ian signature Multi Chourus Pedal. This is the heaviest distortion sound ever. DEATH DISTORTION....It Will Own YOU!!!!
Ease of Use:
Digitech makes this pedal easy to use. You will have to experiment but only if you want a desired sound. It is very easy to use and thats the way it should be.
Durability:
This will hold up to any live playing you will embark on. Digitech is the best Manufacturer of all time, nobody can beat them!!! This is heavy duty construction, hard to break.

This pedal is great, and I'm glad I bought it. If this were lost or stolen, I might consider getting the more expensive Metal Master Pedal, if I had the money, but this pedal works great for now. I like this pedals sound. If I knew anyone else who needed a pedal, i would recommend this one. If this site had .5's this pedal would have a 4.5
Model Year: 2004
Price: $49.99 (new)
Where Obtained: Guitar Center
Features:
4 Controls; high, medium, and low eq, and level. AC and 9V battery powered. It has an output for a mixer and one for an amp. Looks sleak too. It has a nice rubber grip on the bottom so it wont slip.
Sound Quality:
I use a Paul Stanley Apocolypse Pro and a vintuara vintage ampliphier. The amp isn't the best for my kind of music, but it works. The sound is still great.
Ease of Use:
The unit isnt programmible, but finding the sound you want is easy, you just have to play around. All pedals like this are easy to use, this is no exception.
Durability:
This petal is pretty unbreakable looking. Its metal, and is durable. It has a nice rubber grip on the bottom so live play is good. The battery life might be its only flaw.
