I have the Ultimate Beginners Package, Videos and Books, and like said, it's very bare minimal. It has exactly what you need to know to start, but not much more, it's good start, but usally if you can't learn it from wholenote.com, you need a teacher, and usallyt hey'll recommend you a good book.

I got this book from a friend, and I must say it is the most avergage book I have ever read. It is not bad, it is not great. It has useful audio examples, nice graphics, and is suited for ultimate begginers. It uses both tab and sheet music, but does not teach you alot about reading music, and cuts straight to the chords. It goes along pretty much the same pattern as all the other books, but its still ok.
