I like the pedal. It has a good look and very clean/crisp sound. For the price I think it's an excellent value, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.
Model Year: 2004
Price: $50.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Carvin
Features:
Chrome wha-pedal with a rubber grip and toe-down switch. It's simple to use, and once you get the hang of it turning it on and off is very easy. However, the rubber grip for your foot is not well glued, and excessive leaning on it can make it slide slightly off place.
Sound Quality:
I use this with my line6 spider and Carvin DC-200. There is no static (like I've heard with a number of other pedals), and the tone is very crisp and clean. However, anyone listening to it will easily recognize it as a "vintage" sound (hence the name). I didn't think it would make that much of a difference in tone but it does. The tone is much thinner than other modern pedals. Because this doens't suit my style that well, I give it a four.
Ease of Use:
Very simple to use, once you get used to the toe-down switch.
Durability:
Sturdy, except that the rubber grip can move off the pedal with too much weight.
