This is a transcription book to the album Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd. This book has been one of the biggest inspirations to my playing along with my other favorite genre which is the world of metal. I refer to this book quite often and trying to get down the solo to "Time" as we speak from time to time. I'm getting real close I just think I need to be high for the feel LOL. It matches my skill level in soloing but the rythym is rather awkward and haven't even tempted it yet. It defiantely fits one of many genres that I enjoy so yes it is one of my favorites. This book did not come with a CD. This book to my knowledge could not have been better. It is written a little differently than some of the other books I have played out of but very much managable. The favorite aspect is that not only will I get to be a more versatile player but I will get to learan the solos of my dreams like "Time" and "Money". There is no downside other than that I can't play their rythyns for diddly. I dont know of any other books by this author. As far as adding to this so called summation I would like to say this book is where the feel of music came from and is by far one of Pink Floyd's greatest work. I hear it all the time from others as well. There will never ever be another David Gilmore.
