This is a great guitar. I expected it to be since it's Joe's signature model. I am very excited to have this guitar. For the money, I can't think of anything better. As I mentioned, I've owned a variety of different guitars and this is the sweetest by far. It feels great, looks great, sounds great. I don't see myself trading it in down the road, it's a keeper.

Made in Japan with beautiful craftsmanship. It's a very light guitar, basswood body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard. Great pickup combinations with the Dimarzio humbuckers and coil tap and high pass filter for single coil combinations. Humbuckers in the bridge (Fred) and neck (PAF JOE). Gorgeous candy apple red finish. See Ibanezrules.com or Joe's sight for the best look at the deep red finish. Edge pro bridge stays in tune great.
Sweet low action. I was playing a 470 model with the flatter fretboard. I like this neck by far. Closer to a telecaster I once owned. No other guitar I've owned comes close to this one (Strat, Tele, Steinberger, Korean model Ibanez 470). I've only owned it for less than a month, but I can't find a thing wrong with it.
I mainly play through my Korg AX1000 with headphones. I enjoy rock as well as some mellower acoustic style music: Satriani, Aerosmith, Van Halen, SRV. This guitar has such great tone variety, its suited for anything.
I have only owned it for a month or so but right now everything is dead on thanks to Rich at Ibanezrules.com (well worth taking a look). Oversized strap locks are comforting.
