Personnel Kurt Cobain Dave Grohl Chris Novoselic
Description Power chords gone awry and an uncanny balance. Genuine power emits from this first CD in both music and lyrics.

The first "popular" Nirvana CD and the intro for a new genre of music albeit short-lived. Studio production on here is very good and the mix of voice and music is a complimentary blending. Best part of this record is the raw energy that you here from track to track even on a few slow parts. I would compare their impact to that of Van Halen in that during that time they were the music. Good guitar playing with semi controlled distortion and great drum work. A very unusual mix of songs but by the end of the CD it feels right. For the few of us "luckies" who got the initial release we also got the secret track that was later removed off the Nevermind CD.
