1st of all, anyone who has a PA with a passive crossover speakers, and gigs a lot, this device is a MUST HAVE. It makes every passive speaker system PA sound 1000% better. It automatically EQ's a room.. It WILL Tighten up any PA that doesnt have speaker aligment delay/compensation control. It takes the place of multiple rack units and completely controls all parameters. This device does scientifically what most soundmen "think they can do" and will be the device of every FOH Engineers futures
Programming is somewhat simple. Factory presets are great with very accurate aligments for passive JBL speaker configurations. I was a lil hesitant at 1st having no immediate control of parameters I usually did, but the drive rack did everything b4 without me even getting a chance to touch a control. Auto EQ was amazingly set very tight via the RTA mic and pink noise generator, leaving a hefty headroom with low noise.
Seems very durable, built tough..I've used dbx products for years now and have yet to have 1 fail. I just pulled my dbx over ez's out of my rack after manymany years. This is a new device, and I hopt it lasts as long
