After listening to this CD the first time I spent another 3 hours going over it song by song. At the time it was unbelievable the different amount of sounds Steve was capable of producing with very few effects. Being a disciple of Tone Master Joe Satriani clearly shines through Steve on this recording without duplicating the Satch sound. A bit choppy IMO on how the songs were selected and the order they were put on the CD. Captures Vai as he begins his first of many peeks right after the David Lee Roth years. Out of this world artwork that is synonamous with most Steve Vai CD's. For any guitarist this is an absolute must have in your CD collection. Miss out on this one and your missing a piece of the history of music.
