This album was the first real album by Bob. of course he released one before, but it was mostly covers. even though this album has quite a few covers, it has classics like "blowin' in the wind' and "masters of war", that are perfect Bob songs. With the almost famous cover of him with his girlfriend walking down the snowy street, the album is a great fulk classic. My favorite track on the entire thing is "I shall be free", which shows off bobs' unique style of reality and humor in one blend. He talks about elizebeth taylor to the great grand daughter of mr. clean. the song about the cuban missile crisis, "a hard rains gonna fall", is another classic, and another example of Bobs writing efforts. Basically, if you dont have this album yet, go out and buy it. its terrific. hmm...well, not a whole lot left to say. Just buy it and see for yourself.
