I didn't have the biggest budget when I was looking at this guitar. I was also considering B.C Rich, Fender and other Yamaha models; I chose this guitar for its value and playability, it played better than anything else in my price range. If this guitar were lost or stolen I think I probably would buy it again. I don't really have any complaints with this guitar. Overall, I would recommend it to any body looking for a guitar in the $1000.00 and under price range.
Price: $350.00 Canadian (new)
6-string double cutaway guitar with a satin black finish and black hardware; made in Japan. Solid alder body, rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets. Master volume and master tone with a five-way pick-up switch. Ceramic pick-ups; configuration is H/S/H. Includes vintage tremolo vibrato system. Overall a pretty slick-looking guitar.
This is a great rock guitar with great easy playability, works well with any style of playing. The neck is nice and smooth, great for quick action. Plays great compared to any guitar in the $1000.00 and under price range.
I've run this guitar through Marshals, Fenders, Washburns etc... Works well with any amp combo Ive tried. I'm a blues man, and this guitar delivers what I need; It works well for any style playing. Tones range from a nice, clean, warm tone to a burning hot, stinging-type tone and everywhere in-between. Sound is great compared to most guitars.
This is a tough little axe. It could handle live performances, stays in-tune pretty good unless you go salvage on the whammy bar. Everything is holding up pretty well, and I am more than satisfied with its overall durability.
