I think I would spend the $20 bucks more and get the RP-80 that digitech just came out with. But it's a nice little recording preamp for the price.
Model Year: 2003
Price: $60.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Guitar Center - Tampa
Features:
Buttons to bounce around and tweak the sound. No knobs. I like the stereo TRS out for recording.
Sound Quality:
Good range of effects for the basics.
Ease of Use:
It's pretty easy to use you don't have the control or the amount of simultaneous effects as with high end models. But it costs less then most Single Effect Stomp Boxes.
Durability:
It's plastic but it can take being bounced around in a gig bag.

-I also looked at buying the rp-100 but I could not pass up the price and quallity of the rp-50.
Model Year: 2003
Price: $180.00 CAN (new)
Where Obtained: The Arts Music Store
Features:
-This particular modal has buttons, but most of the other modles such as the RP-100 or the RP-200 have nobs -Every effect is useful in some kind of music and is usually made for it such as preset 64 which I use for heavy metal to give it an extra crunch. - there is also a channel for a volume pedal.
Sound Quality:
-The sound quality is great and effects are all digital.
Ease of Use:
-At first it seams confuzing but in a short time you should get the hang of it.
Durability:
- It has been approved by some music testers andby me.
