I looked at this pedal and digitechs OD pedal. I chose this because i thought it sounded better. It was a good pedal until it stopped working. I wouldnt buy it again if it was free.
Price: $40.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Sam Ash
Features:
3 knobs- drive, tone, and level 9v batteries or AC adapter little black switch between ts9 and "hot" mode (extra gain boost)
Sound Quality:
I play this thru a Standard strat and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. I play mostly rock and blues. Provides a pretty good variety of sounds from light overdrive to semi heavy distortion (this isnt a metal pedal) Its pretty noisy in hot mode but in ts9 mode the noise isnt very noticeable
Ease of Use:
The manual gives u 3 "suggested settings" that might work for u. It took a lot of tweaking to get that right sound for me.
Durability:
Heres where it takes a hit. I owned it for a few months. Then it wouldnt turn on every time i pressed it. It would only turn on when it wanted to. So i took it to sam ash, got it fixed, and it was fine again. 2 months later, same thing happens. im p---ed now. im ditching it and buying a boss blues driver.
