And rap is... a problem?

I totally disagree. "Meteora" has an altogether different sound than both Hybrid Theory and Reanimation. With less raw emotion and more expressive lyrics, Meteora is unique in almost every aspect while keeping the same feeling that makes you think, Yeah, this is Linkin Park. Its LP, to a whole new level.

Linkin Park also has more effects on this CD than even Reanimation. The guitar isn't amazing but is definitely above average, and besides, with the 10 billion other sounds going on, you don't have time for a 2 minute virtuoso solo. As usual, there's an all-effects track by LP's own "Mr. Hahn," appropriately titled, "Session."

This is the highest Linkin Park has ever taken their music, and if you liked them before, you'll love them now. Meteora has gotten them loads of airtime on both variety and rock stations, with three singles and counting. Unless they go acoustic, LP really can't get any farther from their humble beginnings.

This CD has a different sound compared to hybrid theory. The only problem I have with the CD is it contains to much rap :(. Great Replay Value. Fun to play along with!
