My overall opinion of the guitar is that it is a cost effective guitar that sounds good and looks good. i would probably not buy the guitar again just because it wasn't exactly what i wanted. it could be better by haveing 24 frets and two tone and volume knobs other than that it is a good guitar
Model Year: 2003
Price: $490.00 (new)
Where Obtained: www.musciansfriend.com
Features:
These guitars are made in the USA. the body is made of Basswood. the neck is made of Maple material. it has onw volume and one tone with a 3 way switch. it is a 6 string with 22 frets. it has two humbuckers H/H. it has AH1 and AH2 pickups. it only comes in a black finish. the bridge is a tune-o-matic with non-locking tuners
Playability:
For nu-metal and soloing this is a prity good guitar. i don't like the fact that it only has 22 frets. another thing i don't like is that it has only one tone and one volume knob. you can get the ic-400 if you want 2
Sound Quality:
I use a yamaha dg-80 with it. i play metal and it does ok for that. it has a dark sound and look. this it a very good sounding guitar. it has some noise problems i've found.
Durability:
This is a reliable guitar. i have only needed to adjust the intonation one time. i put strap-locks on it and the other hardware is holing up good. climate doesn't affect it
