Overall, this is a good beginner guitar, and with a little work
could be a great stage guitar. Smooth out the rough edges.
Change the tuning keys. Set it up. It's fine for stage or studio.
This is one that could grow with you, and for a great starter
price.

It was made in taiwan. It has a solid flamed maple single
cutaway body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It
has passive pickups in a s/s configuration with a three way
switch. One volume, one tone. It has a string thru bridge. and
has vintage inline type tuners which are lacking. Most of the
materials are pretty good. There is some lack of attention to
detail - spilled finish, ruff areas where the nut sticks out past the
edge of the neck, etc.
The neck is fully adjustable as is the bridge. The action comes
set okay for beginner/ intermediate players. Advanced players
may want to do a full setup on the neck and bridge on this one
as well as changing out the pickups. Personally I'm thinking
about putting Duncan JB Jrs. on it. The materials are more like
a LP anyway. It just might pull off the warm LP sounds if it had
those.
It carries a pretty good vintage Fender sound with the tone 3/4
on. With it only a quarter on it's got killer muted treble rythmn
guitar sound. I love to use this one for my Jazz rythmns. It works
out well, but only after a complete intonation setup. It has the
standard single-coil buzz unless you put the selector in the
middle. The materials are strong enough for stage, but I would
change to some better tuning keys before trusting it for any
length of time.
