This guitar is a great one for a beginner or and advanced player looking to not spend so much money. I would definately buy one of these again.
Model Year: 2001
Price: $179.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Link's music
Features:
This guitar was made in China. It has a a piezo pickup and active bass and trebel controls. The body is a single cut-away design and the finish is black with creme colored binding.
Playability:
This guitar is one of the best playing acoustics I've ever owned. The action feels real nice. I use light guage strings on it (.011 - .046). Very nice indeed!
Sound Quality:
I usually run this guitar trough a Digitech effects proccessor for recording usind the acoustic simulator. The guitar itself has a more bright sound than an average "drednaught" style guitar. The only flaw is that, if it's plugged directly into an amp (No effects) it's sound is a bit flat.
Durability:
I've owned this guitar for 4 years now. It has travelled with me to recording sessions in Georgia and been used for a few performances and it sounds just as good (If not better!) as it did when new.
