I would DEFINITLY buy again if lost or stolen. The guitar is perfect for the advacing blues fan who is look for the perfect sound. My favorite aspect is dark bassy sound. Overall, the only other guitars i've seen that give this even the slightest bit of competition Are any type of hollow body electric, and this one would still bury the competition. Just an all around great guitar. my personal fave
Model Year: 1988
Features:
Hand made in Canada, set-in cherry neck and cherry body. Rosewood fingerboard. Black pickguard. Six strings,22 frets, natural unlacquered finish.
Playability:
The play ability is very good- my only problem is the high fretboard radius makes barring chords hard for beginners or people with tiny hands. Luckily my hands are large and with a bit of practice found this quite easy. Other than that, it is very easy to play and offers choke free bends thanks to low profile fretwire.
Sound Quality:
I mostly play it for rock when a string busts on my electric, but it also works GREAT for blues (my other favorite) and folk.Any one of these works great but the dark sound makes it the perfect guitar if you play southern style blues. out of the 6 guitars we own, this has the most distinct and unique sound. The set in neck and Idealy placed soundhole create tremendous sustain and resonance. The Light rosewood fingerboard creates light warmth perfectly complimenting the dark sound of the body
Durability:
This guitar super-human!My mom Had for 15 years. This has been dropped, hit into a dresser and even the fickle northeastern climate have all failed to put an end to this guitar guitar. Still sounds great! No dead notes on the neck. I play it almost every day and stays in perfect tune.
