I looked at other 10-15W amps and this was definately the best overall. I needed something for lessons and didn't want to haul around my 50 lb. tube amp. Would be nice if it had a footswitch for the 2 channels. Overall, for a small practice amp it is excellent.
Model Year: 2006
Price: $99.99 (new)
Where Obtained: Sam Ash
Features:
Solid state. 2 channel- clean & lead. Lead channel has 4 options: overdrive, distortion, metal and metal stack. 3 band eq. Quite loud for its size.
Sound Quality:
I play a USA Washburn CT3 with seymour duncan pickups. Clean channel is ok. Lead channel is a lot of fun and the 4 different "effects" do sound noticeably different. Very quiet.
Ease of Use:
Very easy to use.
Durability:
Seems to be built very well.

I don't think I would buy another if it was lost or stolen. It has a nice distortion tone but it's too weak. I've already blown out the speaker. Nice, but not great. Good practice amp.

Model Year: 2003
Price: $100.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Mike's Music, Harrisburg Pa
Features:
Two channels with four distortions and a wide gain control. Very powerful (i play punk and classic rock) sound, solid-state electronics.
Sound Quality:
It has good sound quality, great for Punk and Classic Rock, distortion has a very wide range and sounds awesome. My fav. sound is Distortion=overdrive, bass the whole way down, treble the whole way up, middle the whole way up, and gain the whole way down. It sounds awesome, great for old rock and especially Beatles and early rock.
Ease of Use:
Very easy to use.
Durability:
Extremely durable, just look at it.
