It produces a nice chorus sound, and as a bonus, can get a good imitation of a Leslie cab. I actually use it more as a "Leslie" than as a chorus now.
Price: $0.00 (new)
Where Obtained: local store
Features:
Has 3 knobs, depth, tone and rate. It can run on an adaptor or 9V battery (be sure to unplug it when not using it if you use a 9v battery)
Sound Quality:
I use it with guitars with humbuckers. It makes a little noise, but not too bad It seems to take a little bit of the low end off the guitar tone, so I have to EQ the bass back in a little.
Ease of Use:
Easy to get 2 or 3 distinct good effects out of it. I have also used it as a vocal effect, with OK results. Have to match the levels up right to minimize noise on vocals.
Durability:
It would be good to use in an effects loop, and bring in for one or 2 songs. Maybe not durable for lots of use night after night. I have used it on a jamming type basis and recording some at home for about 10 years now.
