The only way I would say that this amp could be better is if it was higher in watt's! one thing is that its a bear to carry around, It's really heavy but hey hauling this thing around as much as I do only makes my arms stronger which helps me play faster!
Model Year: 1975
Price: $0.00
Where Obtained: Father
Features:
Foot switch (reverb and lead), recording line out, two external speaker outs, effects loop, and Tube electronics. Its more than powerful enough for any gigs I play.
Sound Quality:
I use this amp with a Ibanez RG, with 2 cabs each with 2 12" speakers. this amp's output is awsome! i have yet to use another amp that can get the same quality sound this amp gives me. The clean channel stays clean at any volume, and the lead channel just keeps getting louder, never foggy.
Ease of Use:
This amp isn't programable, it doesnt need to be! and it doesn't take any time at all to get the sound you want out of it.
Durability:
The last time I re-tubed it was last fall (02) but before that my dad got it brand new in 76 and never had problems with it or had to re-tube it or anything.
