This book was a great way for me to start learning how to play guitar. It has really easy and simple songs in it and songs that are from the later Beatle years that start to have challenging parts (this book even includes songs not written by the Beatles but recorded or covered by them). And I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is starting to play bass, because as the Beatles went on in their careers, Paul McCartney's bass playing progressed so much that it makes this book a great way for someone to build up their bass playing skills FAST. All you have to do is start with the early stuff, and then as you think you've got that down, keep moving along and going into the later stuff. This book definitely helped to make me a better gtr player, bass player, and drummer. I'd say it's suitable for all levels of playing because there are the extremely easy songs in here, suitable for people who are just beginning then there are songs that have very complex rhythm parts and such that can even make an expert player do a double take. The one thing about this book, is that there are some printing mistakes in here that can make it confusing. A few times in the book there can be a bass note tabbed on the wrong line or if your playing the rhythm gtr. part they'll have a different chord name above the chord then what's actually in the chord box. All though, this occurs so infrequently, that if you happen to stumble upon one of the songs that's like this, it's just bad luck. Overall I would say this book is a absolute must for anybody who wants to be a classic rock player and is just beginning, or is just a hardcore Beatles fan that wants to know how to play any Beatles song their heart desires.
Suitable for all skill levels of guitarists
