This material was recorded in a cabin somewhere in the Canadian wilderness when Lenny Breau was getting over his father's death. The music was captured on tape by Breau's friend Glen McDonald, who had to bring a generator and recording equipment into his cabin with no electricity, heat or running water to capture these beautiful and spontaneous arrangements from a reflective Lenny Breau. The tunes run together and sometimes stop abruptly, but I've never heard a recording from this great player that is this moving. This CD will really grow on you. It's become one of my favorites.
