This one's a definte keeper. Smooth, silky and warm. I need a couple more of these cause everyone fights to use it on stage/rehearsals.
Model Year: 2003
Price: $200.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Guitar Center
Features:
No Controls (KISS engineering) 1 1/2" gold sputtered dual membrane condensor Shock mount included.
Sound Quality:
Outperforms any mic in it's class and takes a few classic studios on as well. It's a warm, open sounding mic, perfect for male vocal and guitar amp duty. Very reminicent of the Nueman U 47 series, but onl 5 db of self noise. This is the quietest mic available, period. At first I thought it wasn't working because I heard no ambient noise, but when the vovalist spoke, it came to life without any coloration. Simply breathtaking.
Ease of Use:
Plug it in and go !!!
Durability:
Although meant for studio use, I put it to work at reheasals and on stage.
