I looked at all the top of the line jacksons, and all the more expensive ibanez rg models and havent found anything im more comfortable playing than this guitar, could just be me but i love this guitar... if i were to break it, i definately would buy the same guitar...
Model Year: 2002
Price: $700.00 (new)
Where Obtained: huron music center
Features:
Japanese made, magony body, maple wizard neck, 22 jumbo frets, volume and tone knobs, 2 humbuckers, v1 at the neck position, v2 at the tremolo, floyd rose 2 tremolo, double locking
Playability:
The action is excellent, i actually sold my 1974 sg to get this guitar cause i liked it so much, i couldnt think of anything i would like to do to this guitar except maybe replace the pickups in the future
Sound Quality:
I play through a marshall jcm900 with matching cabinets, and a mesa boogie .50 caliber, various effects. great for all styles of music, especially metal/rock, great sound quality clean (neck pickup), and mean dirty channel sound from the bridge pick up, sustain is excellent. 5 times the guitar my sg was.
Durability:
I havent dropped it yet and i hope i dont...haha so i dont know.. strap locks are pretty big, wont fall of your strap....
