So far it only hung up once. My kid had pulled it out of the CD drive & had stuff on his fingers which then got on the CD. Once cleaned, good as new. So, no problems with the actual program.
Skill level, if you have been playing for a short while & can do barre chords and maybe a few scales, this would really help your learning. If your intermediate, this would perhaps push you up another notch.
It's fun to just play along with, too. So you can learn the licks of the performers as well as try out your own chops while playing along with them.
I'd be willing to try the next set of stuff from this company. It worked very well, was very easy to use and is fun as well as a good learning tool

Suitable for intermediate guitarists
Just need a basic sound card, nothing special.
Good selection of artists & styles to listen to and learn from. Really neat part is the graphic of the neck and where the notes are played and where they bend each note, etc.
Does have TAB as well as standard notation, which is good if you are trying to learn Standard notation.
Very easy to use. Pop it in the CD drive, steps you through the loading of it. Pretty simple to use. Real simple to learn.
I think it will make me a better musican, because all I do now is jam and this will allow me to play actuall songs.
It locks up once in awhile but it think it is my PC
I have been playing for a long time and it is neither to easy or to hard, it is fun.
For the money this is a fun way to learn because you hear the song and see it played on the sheet music in front of your eyes, you can isolate the hard parts and play just the rhythm or lead or both. You do not need to know how to read music to use this, thats why I bought it. I have many books with Blues songs but for me I need to hear the song and this is great.....

Suitable for all skill levels of guitarists
All you need is your basic computer these things all like lots of memory.
It has playback looping so you can really concentrate on the hard parts by hearing them over and over.
It seems to have everything I can think of, I don't know at this point what else I wish it could do.
You will be playing with it in 5 minutes.
No learning curve, just the normal how does this work and a few buttons pushed later and you are on your way.
I haven't tryed anything like this before.
