This collection contains many of Tal Farlow's classic recordings in trio, quartet and sextet formats. Tal was a guitarist with total mastery of the instrument who could burn on bop tunes as easily as he could reharmonize beautiful ballads. Jim Hall, John McLaughlin and Jimmy Raney all cited Tal as an influence. Any jazz guitarists should add this CD to their collection.
