DR RARE Phosphor Bronze Acoustic

Made by DR

Description These are the best strings I have tried. They are long lasting, have great tone, and are easy to bend. They are compression wound, which means that once the strings are wound, "the whole is smaller than the sum of its parts!"

I read good reviews online, and price is not bad.

Metal seems to be good quality

Bronze strings going on acoustic guitar. I am getting an old Harmony Stella (1970s model) ready for use this spring and summer as travel guitar.
Durability:
Just got them, but they seem to be high quality.

These strings are a great value for their price because they last so long; most other strings don't last half as long. I suggest that every acoustic guitar player get these strings to try them at least once.
Price: $6.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Sam Ash
Features:
The RARE phosphor strings are compression wound, making them last longer, sound better, and bend easier. They are made with a hex core and are hand wound.
Sound Quality:
These strings sound great when you first put them on, but keep sounding better as long as they last. I use them on my Ibanez AW300CE, and they sound great. These strings sound much better than about every other string I have ever tried.
Durability:
The most outstanding feature of these strings is how long they last. I have had the same set of string on my guitar for at least 2 months, and they're still going strong.
