Overall Rating:
I would recommend this guitar to anybody.
Model Year: 1999
Price: $1599.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Guitar Center
Features:
Indian Rosewood back and sides. AAA Sitka Spruce top. Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Abalone and Mother of Pearl inlay. Grover tuners.
Playability:
Great sound! Beautiful low bass response with complex overtones. Exceptional sustain throughout. Great tone. Action on these guitars is high when purchased. They must not do any adjusting at the factory but once set to ideal height it "plays like butter".
Sound Quality:
Great for blues, bluegrass, accompaniment, or just about anything really as far as acoustic music goes. Warm sound. I would put it up with many of the higher priced Gibsons or Martins or even Taylor for that matter.
Durability:
Treat this guitar like a baby.
