If you (like me) jumped into the wonderful world of theory not knowing how deep the pool was, and found yourself drowning, this book is the answer. Based on the tuning of our beloved instrument, this CAGED system will get your head above the tide fast and clear the murky depths. Consistent application of the technique will unlock doors you never knew existed. But ya gotta do the time. Great stuff!

Excellent book for beginners & even intermediates.

Explanation of many things that I have played for a long time but didn't really understand why. Easy to read and follow text as well as simple diagrams.

I would recommend this book to anyone starting out or that has been playing for a while.

This book takes all the random tidbits of theory, chord names, and scale names and puts it together in a laser pointed format that hits you in the head like a Les Paul and... BONK, you understand! If you know how to read... any style, and any skill level will benefit from this book. The best part about the book is the diagrams displaying how the chord and scale forms tie together. The book tells you and shows you. I have bought several other books on technique and theory and believe that I will be refrencing this book long after the others are collecting dust on a shelf.
