Overall Rating:
I have had a Jay Turser bass guitar for almost a year and it has held up rather nicely, so I looked at Jay Turser guitars when I decided I wanted a Jazz type guitar. I highly recommend Jay Turser guitars and basses.
Model Year: 2002
Price: $239.00 (new)
Where Obtained: eBay Auction
Features:
Made in China. Maple body and neck, Rosewood fretboard. Double cutaway Semi-Hollow Thinline Jazz Guitar (Gibson ES-335 copy). 22 Frets, dot markers. 2 volume controls, 2 tone controls and one 3 way switch. 2 Humbuckers. Pickguard.
Playability:
After changing the strings and adjusting the setup it plays very well. The neck is not too thin or too fat, feels comfortable.
Sound Quality:
Played through a Peavey Classic 20 clean and dirty, tone was excellent. Did not get any squeal as I heard you can get from this style of guitar.
Durability:
I have only had it a few days so durability and reliability is still in question, however it does seem to be well built.
