I went with this because I know that UHF is a more stable and clearer frequency. I also chose Shure because I know their products and have used them. The stuff they make is for pros, and if you get this equipment, you have to pay a little more, but to me its worth saving a little longer and being thrilled with the results. I highly reccomend that you check and make sure that the UHF frequencies aren't going to be affected by the influx of digital cable in your area, and I reccomend that for big cites to avoid VHF altogether, yes it's cheaper, but, it's worth the extra bux to go UHF.
I bypassed all the other models because of reputation and because I believe that you get what you pay for. In my band I can't afford to mess around, and I knew that in the long run, I'd be happier. There are cheaper products out there and some may do the job for you. For my money, this was an investment. Better to play music than worry about your equipment's reliability. Ive already gigged with this, and was so pleased, it was flawless, and the range was incredible. It's literally exceeded my hopes in using wireless. I'm hooked.

UHF Frequencies, Has a Transmitter, and a reciever, Sturdy Plastic Case, and all cables and Adapters needed.
The Sound quality is first rate. At first I used the Effects loops of my amp to try and run the wireless, but when my MXR Dyna Comp was switched on, the volume level went down considerably. I resoved this by feeding from the output of the reciever to the first part of my pedal chain and then taking the end of my pedal chain and connecting it to the in on my amp. Problem beautifully solved! The Sound Quality is excellent!
Realitively easy to use, once you hook it up with your amp the correct way.
It's plastic, so you have to take care of it. It's delicate, but that doesn't mean it's cheap. I like the composition of the materials, but it's something you obviously have invested in and want to take total care of to the utmost. If you care for it, it will care for you, because it's not cheaply constructed, but if you are hard on it, drop it, etc, it may have problems. BABY this if you get it, it's well in your best interest!
Excellent for the guitarist wanting a great wireless system without having to pay $400-
