Coldplay

by Coldplay

(2000) Capitol

Personnel Guy Berryman, Jon Buckland, Will Champion, Chris Martin
Description Very creative & fresh recording. Each song has a different feel much like listening to a Beatles album.

Sorry Tom, but this is one of the most overrated albums in England, the songs are particularly uninspiring, if indeed just too whiney. The singer, like many recent Jeff Buckley clones, just needs to deliver his songs with a bit more emotion and less irritating lacklustre whinging and they might have something. I liked it at first but it doesn't take long before you wish them a long painful death, but they wouldn't seem to mind as they're half expecting it anyway. If you like this check out Starsailor, good name crap music, whose singer is even more irritating.

Coldplays Parachutes is a must buy for all tastes. These days there are too few really talented & creative works.
