I already had a Jackson Soloist, so I new I loved them. The only difference in this one, was the awesome custom paint job and the Floyd Rose whammy bar.

This is the guitar!! I've owned everything you can imagine and this is the one.
Model Year: 2002
Price: $1600.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Miami Music Store
Features:
Made in USA Neck thru body, with ebony fingerboard 24 medium jumbo frets 1 master volume, 1 tone control 2 Seymour Duncan pickups, H/H Passive electronics Custom finish, "Stattered Glass" check it out on my WN Homepage. This is the coolest finish I'd ever seen! You have to see it in person to really get the effect. Standard Jackson body style Floyd Rose trem, w/ locking nut, fine tuners
Playability:
The action is awesome on this guitar, and every other Jackson, for that matter. They have very solid intonation and stay in tune forever. For speed, this guitar is the bomb! Flawless neck and fingerboard. As straight as a runway. This is my second Jackson Soloist, My first is Ser. J120, so it was one of the first off the line back in '85.
Sound Quality:
I have Marshall 2000, 100w that never sounded better when this puppy is connected. The Seymour's are a great match for this guitar. The notes take on a life of their own, and seem to "evolve" after striking one, which is very cool with a decent overdriven tone! I Only play it in a progressive rock and roll style, but am sure it could be used for many other styles. If I were to do anything to this guitar, it would probably be just changing to EMG pickups for an experiment in tone. I've had them before on my Les Paul and really loved them. A noise-free guitar, no squeaks, hums, rattles. Nothing but solid tone. Neck thru body is simply the best there is for sustain and tone.
Durability:
I play this guitar all day long! No complaints. I have not touched the truss rod since I've owned it. It endures weather changes very well - I live in Chicago and get ALL the extremes!

The best aspect of this guitar is it's overall tonal quality. And feels sooo good to play!!You couldn't ask for anything more from a guitar!!!

I like the action pretty low,it plays like a dream, the neck is perfect, well balanced thruout, it plays very easy compared to most guitars IT'S A JACKSON! Not single flaw I've found... it rules!!
Sound Quality:
I run it thru twin JCM 800's. It has a great all around tone, clean is great , dirty is awesome, good strat sound great les Paul sound. It is a great axe for the studio and the stage, it is balanced perfectly. you can let go of it and it will hang perfectly. It's shape hugs your body
Durability:
I bought it and adjusted it a little for my taste in action and never had to screw with it again. My pride and Joy!!!
