Rating: On this mostly live recording Clapton and an impressive collection of musicians cover many of the Great Bluesmen; Willie Dixon's "Hoochie Coochie Man", Elmore James' "It Hurts Me Too", Muddy Waters' "Standin' Round Crying" and 13 others which are great blues when viewed seperately but the arrangement and production on this recording makes this CD very tasty indeed. Andy Fairweather-Low's work in particular stands out next to Clapton's, who is clearly relishing playing old-time Blues, but this is clearly a group effort and as such warrants a listen |
