Overall opinion - in this price range, you won't do much better. Find one on sale, you won't regret picking it up. You're not gonna rock any stadiums with this one, but that's not the point. A very nice practice amp.
Price: $49.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Sam Ash
Features:
Solid state, 10W, one channel, headphone jack. Gain, volume, treble, mid, bass controls. No reverb, which is a minus.
Sound Quality:
I bought this on sale, not expecting much, but after playing it for a while was sufficiently impressed to write the manufacturer and compliment them on this amp. Suprising variety of tones for such a basic amp, from smooth clean tones to a nice dirty, raunchy distortion. For the price and size, you'd be hard pressed to find a better practice or beginner's amp. It's not a Marshall, but the key here is value for the price, and this one is satisfactory for what I bought it for.
Ease of Use:
Straightforward, plug and play. Tweak the controls to your hearts content, but they don't get much more basic than this.
Durability:
Built like a rock. I haven't kicked it around too much, but if I dropped it, I don't think I'd be too worried.
