The soloette is probably the only other guitar that I looked at that is a portable as this guitar is.

If this guitar were stolen, I would probably replace it with one of those.

This guitar could be better - you can see the improvement in the Traveler Speedster guitar. The only difference is that they didn't keep that same pickup configuration.

If you want to play anywhere and you travel, this is the guitar for you!
Model Year: 2001
Price: $275.00
Where Obtained: Ebay
Features:
This is a US made guitar that is made of Eastern American Hard Maple. The fretboard is Pao Ferro. This 6 string guitar with medium frets has a volume knob for the piezo and another volume knob for the single coil. The 3 way toggle allows for the two pickups to be blended. The one pickup is in the bridge position. The finish is natural and the body style is like the Steinberger, with a unique roller bridge that allows the strings to wrap around the body to the tuners that are located in the middle of the body.
Playability:
It takes some time to get used to playing this guitar. I like the feel of the neck, but sometimes it is difficult to hold the guitar. Once you get used to the guitar, it is a very comfortable guitar, and it is now my most played guitar.
Durability:
This guitar is reliable - it would probably survive a 12 foot drop with only minor abrasions. I have tried different strings but have never had to make an adjustment.
