I looked at martin, taylor, gibson, and many other guitars before decided on this one. While it lacks some high end sustain(very little loss due to bolt on neck I believe) its sound is very clear, crisp and I thoroughly love playing it Edit 4 years later. This guitar has increased in sound quality and is comparable to some higher level guitars.
Model Year: 2001
Price: $700.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Del City Music
Features:
US made, mahogany neck, solid rosewood back and sides with solid spruce top
Playability:
Very adjustable guitar, I like low action
Durability:
So far so good, well made guitar, that should hold up. Its name roadking should indicate that. Edit 4 years later. Tacoma sold out to Fender. I find that the finish on this guitar has problems. It is the satin finish, and it frosts where it appears to have separate from the guitar, but it is still solid.
