Ibanez Sd-9 Sonic Distortion

Single-Effect Pedal

Made by Ibanez

Description This model doesnt really have a comparison. Its not really a metal distortion, but its not really a general Distoriton. Stone Gossard from Pearl Jam uses one.

Great distortion if that is what you are looking for and not quite well known. Think Stone Gossard and early Pearl Jam.

Straight ahead 3 knob device - Distortion, Tone and Level. Lime green puke color.

This is a TS-9 on steroids. Lots of gain for 80's hard rock.
Ease of Use:
Three knobs, set, and off you go!
Durability:
Yes, same box as a TS-9 and the same durability.

Works for me
Price: $30.00 Canadian
Where Obtained: Long and Mcquade (Brampton)
Features:
This pedal has 3 knobs, Distortion, Tone and Level. Pretty simple stuff. 9v powered either by a battery or adapter. One input one output jack. A greeny-yellow colour.
Sound Quality:
Look on my Ab homepage to see what gear i play through it with. It sounds good in pretty much every cobination that i do. It sounds very nice when placed after a Tubescreamer and used together. My settings are as follows: Distortion - 11 o clock Tone - 9 o clock Level - 2 o clock i dont usually change my settings, thats what i use for heavily distorted parts in pearl jam, radiohead, and other stuff.
Ease of Use:
If you know what youre looking for in a distortion, then this should be a rather easy piece of equipment for you. It only has 3 knobs so its not rocket science
Durability:
Mine is really beat up, but it still works perfectly. the battery door on mine is gone and the paint is really scratched up but it still works good.
