Its the perfect guitar for my collection, I love it, and I recommemend it to anyone who wants a LP but cant afford it.
Model Year: 1984
Price: $0.00 N/A
Where Obtained: N/A
Features:
It's a solid mahogany heavy guitar. Rosewood fretboard. Dual Humbuckers. 6 string 22 fret. Sunburst top. yeah plays like a les paul. Actually Ive played Les pauls and they dont play as good as this guitar but thats my opinion.
Playability:
It has perfect action for both lead and rhythm, the humbuckers scream, its good for both distorted and clean tones.
Sound Quality:
The sound is great and all around for any types of playing. Ive used it in both hard rock and jazz, it works great live and does well in the studio.
Durability:
Its been through three hardcore guitarists and landed in my hands and it still plays great. Im planning to put it through some heavy nights of playing and so far its proved excellent.

The Price is definately a key factor, and the action has to be just right.

I would absolutely buy this guitar again, but no one will touch it or I'll break fingers!!!

The action is just down right incredible
Model Year: 1984
Price: $150.00
Where Obtained: Steve Sauve Guitars (North Adams, MA)
Features:
Gorgeous Les Paul Copy, without the Les Paul Price tag!! Natural Finish with a black border. Amazingly only two scratches found! Double Humbucker (chrome) stock, Les Paul headstock, pegs are set at a 3-3 split. It has four overall tone knobs, two volume, two tone. And the toggle switch is amazing for those toggle maniacs. Overall, Captain Woody (I name all my guitars) is one of my favorites in my collection!
Playability:
The action was really high when I first bought it, but the boys at Steve Sauve Guitars (North Adams, MA)have a motto that you cannot leave their shop not happy so they dropped the action to my liking(you can barely pass a piece of paper under the strings).
Sound Quality:
NOTHING BUT CRATE BABY!!! I love ZOOM multi-effect processors, I have the 505 and the GFX-707, and I'm now saving my pennies for a Zoom Super Player8080 I play heavy metal and classic rock, and of course ya gotta love the hair band tunes too Sound is warm when it wants to be, but it's definately got the balls when I need it. Compared to my other guitars (I own 9 guitars), I'd rank it about 2. I'm considering installing a floyd rose locking tremolo with a EVH D-Tuna, And I also want to put in Super Dimarzio Super Distortion humbucker, and a George Lynch Screamin Demon Distortion Humbucker.
Durability:
I play an average of three hours a day, and I get PAID for it!! WOO HOO!!
