I've played on several distortion pedals. This one ranks up there as probably one of the worse pedals I've ever played and heard. If you're serious about getting a good distortion sound, STAY AWAY FROM THE GRUNGE! I highly recomend researching distortions that come in the amps. Those usually are clearner distortions, and much better on the ears. However if you want to get a distortion that just sounds messy, this pedal is for you. Grunge is an understatement-it should be labeled muddy or sloppy. If you don't believe me, please try it out in the store before you spend your well earned cash.

It has four dials, and a big foot pedal/switch at the bottom. The battery seems to last a pretty long time. It can be AC powered which I recomend. I've seen better marked pedals though.
This is a really tin sounding distortion. My friends and I call it paper distortion. You don't know what chord you're playing because no matter what level it's set on, it all sounds the same.
Super easy to use. You'd have to be incredibly stupid if this pedal confuses you.
I could kill someone with this and it'd still perform without any flaws. In fact my friend bought one and we disected it, and put it back together randomly and it still sounded like we didn't touch it.
I picked this one after playing alot of others dont want to name them off but this one was good enogh and it had a great price ........matter of fact i would have boght this one over the ones that cost over 100 dollers

I play with a fender and a crate amp.....i play just about any music but i like punk.. i think its good with metal ......i have used other pedals and none of them can compare to the distortion this pedal gives out... this pedal is only noisy when you want it too ....it only has distortion
This is a very simple pedal......ive seen easyer but those where way to simple..
This pedal is reliable any time...it looks prety togh
Its a great pedal if you want that traditional Nirvana sound. I love it! You can do any think in the rock category and it makes me sound good. Thats all i need in a pedal.

It can be powered in all the normal pedal-powering ways (9volt or AC). No tubes. Headphone input. Output and input. Basic.
Once u make it so its not killing your head with the feedback, it's an awesome little thing. It makes any guitar sound good. You definetely get your money's worth.
Its hard to figure out your first try.
Had it a year and no complaints, except from my family.
