I would not buy this guitar again for the price. it is very uncomfortable to play. the body of the guitar gets in the way and the whammy is stiff. i only hold on to this guitar because it looks cool. other than that, i will never by jackson again.

The neck feels good. it is slim and fast with 22 frets. as far as the sound, its not bad for a stock guitar. it sounds like it looks, metal. has seymore duncan pickups in it that sound ok. i really dont like the tuning prosses. to many screws and locks.
I think it goes out of tune all the time. as soon as you hit the whammy bar irs out. then you have to unlock everything and start all over again. if you use string that are to light, they will break in a day or to, but you cant use string to heavy cause the wont fit the the tuners. it is no gibson i;ll tell ya that.
Sounds good played through a peavy 5150. it is bright and clean. also plays good through my jcm800 marshall amp. gives a good metal sound if you can keep it in tune. i may put some new picups in it just to get a little mor sustain to it. i would not take a chance playing this guitar on the stage. but at home u can rock it out.
It is still in great shap but i think that is do to the lach of playing time it gits.
It may not be an american made jackson, but i'm not going to complain. This baby is awesome!!The only thing i wish this guitar had was the head and neck binding, other then that it is every metal guitarists dream.I strongly recommend this guitar, and yes,I am buying another!!

Jackson x series made in japan.Body is alder with an extreme design and a beatiful flame top in transparent red!Bolt on maple neck with rosewood fretboard,24 jumbo frets, beautiful sharkfin inlay, two duncan design hr104 humbucker pick ups, floyd rose double locking tremolo, simple controls consisting of a volume, tone and two way selector for the humbuckers
The action on this guitar is tight!Thin neck for ultra fast leads, deep cut away easily lets you nail all 24 frets.Top notch playability, almost as good as a custom,if not as good as!No real flaws that i can see(but i'm also a jackson nut!)
Seymour duncans and jackson is like a les paul with emgs, they compliment each other, and that's the case here!I use a Marshall stack and zoom effects, and i can dail in almost any tone. The warrior through the marshall alone produces earth shaking rythms and glass shattering leads. This guitar is truly meant to be played loud and hard!
I haven't had this guitar very long, just about 3 months, though i haven't had a problem yet.I've played it live several times and it always stays in tune.Jackson is known for making very durable, reliable guitars.
